Dr. Temica Francis

Dr. Temica Francis has known from an early age that her destiny was to become an educator. She is currently a Senior Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education department at Queens College. She has had eleven years of experience as a school building leader within the New York City Department of Education, as well as one year in a charter school. Temica has nine years of teaching experience, during which time, she became a National Board Certified Teacher as an Early Childhood Generalist. She has recently attained Data Wise in Action Certification from Harvard University and was awarded a Proclamation from New York State Senator Kevin Parker for Educational Leadership.

Dr. Francis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Teaching of Reading from Long Island University and a Master’s Degree in School Administration and Supervision /School District Leader from Touro College. She also attained a Doctorate of Education in Educational and Policy Leadership from Hofstra University.
