Allie Hinsberg is an Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters with an expertise in literacy and English Language Arts. In this role, Allie works with teachers to strengthen their instructional practices, as well as supports school leaders with engaging in data analysis and creating effective professional developments. Allie is committed to helping educators to continually grow and hone their craft in order to support students at all levels.
Prior to joining the Teaching Matters team, Allie worked in a variety of public and charter school settings. She began her teacher career as a middle school ELA teacher and then went on to teach and coach targeted literacy intervention for elementary school students. Most recently she has been an instructional coach and academic leader at schools in the Bronx and Brooklyn. She was also a network curriculum and assessment writer and worked with other instructional leads to meet the diverse needs of students throughout multiple schools. Allie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Michigan.
