Antwan Lee is a Math Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters. Most recently, Mr. Lee served as the assistant principal, where he led the Special Education and Mathematics department in improvements in student achievement. During his18 year career, Mr. Lee also led in professionally developing teacher leaders and developing data-informed and multi-tiered student supports implementation.
Mr. Lee began his education career as a special education teacher in Raleigh, NC, in 2005. In 2011, he relocated to the DMV area, where his education career continued with DC Public Schools. As an educator, Mr. Lee has served as a secondary math teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal.
Mr. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. He also has a master’s degree in Special Education from North Carolina Central University.
