Becky Morgan

Senior Educational Consultant

Becky Morgan, a Teaching Matters Senior Educational Consultant, is an experienced teacher whose expertise in literacy across grade levels has resulted in exceptional learner reading gains. Partnering with school leaders and teachers to analyze data and use formative assessment to drive instruction is a critical part of her work. Having taught in Title I Schools and an ESOL Center, she was profoundly aware and deeply impacted by the inequity in education and the importance of leveling the playing field for all learners to have equal opportunity and experiences leading to quality education. In addition to years teaching at the elementary level, she has also served in many leadership capacities ranging from school leadership team, data team, grade level chairperson, school representative for ELA and district math competitions. Her love for coaching began when serving as a master teacher for practicum students in education and mentoring new teachers within her schools.

Becky received her BA in English from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. She then continued her education by completing the Teacher Ready Program through the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. She holds her K-6 Elementary Education Professional Certificate in Florida, Professional Endorsement for English Speakers of Other Languages, Competency 2 FL Reading Endorsement.
