Elizabeth Moran

Elizabeth Moran, Associate Director of Donor Relations, brings over a decade of fundraising experience to Teaching Matters. With a background in both individual and institutional giving, she has been responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting funders at two prominent New York City cultural institutions; Museum of the Moving Image and The Lower East Side Tenement Museum. Prior to that, she was a Contract Associate in the Business Affairs department at Penguin Young Readers Group. A dynamic relationship-builder, she develops and implements strategies designed to strengthen and expand Teaching Matters’ network of individual support. She also plans and executes the Champions of Education luncheon – Teaching Matters’ key annual event – as well as a benefit dinner and a series of more intimate friend- and- fundraisers. Elizabeth remains enthusiastic about being part of the nonprofit community in NYC and is committed to working for organizations that enhance the lives of its residents. She holds a B.S. from Boston University’s College of Communication.
