Adriana Meza is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience, specializing in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and leadership across major charter networks in Los Angeles and New York City. As a teacher in California, she was recognized for her role in driving significant improvements in student achievement, receiving the Effective Practice Incentive Community Award. She later led teachers and students to top New York state rankings in ELA and math as a school leader in the South Bronx. More recently, Adriana has worked with early learning programs in NYC, where she has utilized her training as a master observer in Environmental Rating Scales to support teacher practice and promote equitable instruction.
Adriana’s passion for equity in education is central to her career. She has completed extensive training with The National Equity Project, focusing on their Leading for Equity Framework, which informs all of her professional work. Her diverse roles, including grade team leader, dean of students, and senior director, have equipped her with the skills to mentor educators and foster inclusive, high-impact learning environments. Adriana holds a Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts from Seattle University.
