Aisha Butcher is a dedicated and passionate math educator and leader who has taught mathematics to high school students across Louisville, KY and New York City, while achieving outstanding results. Prior to joining Teaching Matters as a math educational consultant, Aisha served as the Director of HS Math for a charter network, overseeing rigorous curriculum and instruction for 9 schools across the Northeast. Her work throughout her career has fostered her passion for inspiring and engaging all math learners through honoring the brilliant mathematical ideas and experiences of students and teachers.
Aisha holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Rochester, and an M.A.T in 7-12 Math Education from the University of Louisville.
