Alex Schoeneck
Prior to joining Teaching Matters, Alex served as a Senior Manager with the Alzheimer’s Association in New York City. In this role, Alex led strategic growth of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Manhattan through volunteer engagement, corporate partnership development, and donor stewardship. During her tenure at the Alzheimer’s Association, Alex rebuilt and revitalized the New York City Chapter Junior Board, significantly growing their volunteer member base and executing an inaugural cocktail gala. Previously, Alex worked for the American Cancer Society, where she mobilized communities to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and support services. During college, she served as a Corps Member for Jumpstart for Young Children and a Youth Enrichment Specialist for Say Yes to Education. Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Barnard College.
