Anabel Encarnación

Anabel Encarnación Allen is a bilingual educator, instructional coach, and curriculum developer whose career began as a dual language language arts and social studies teacher in the South Bronx. Her work has since expanded from classroom instruction to developing the educators, curriculum, and systems that drive strong literacy instruction. She has coached teachers across New York, designed and facilitated professional learning for diverse educator audiences. She has 
developed K—12 ELA, Spanish Language Arts and multilingual learner curriculum and assessments for national education publishers. Across her work, Anabel brings together deep instructional knowledge, thoughtful coaching, and curriculum design to help educators translate high-quality materials into meaningful learning experiences for students. She is deeply guided by her core values: joy, justice, community.
