Anna Schidlovsky is a Senior Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters with an expertise in elementary literacy instruction. Prior to joining Teaching Matters, Anna worked as a Teacher, Grade Team Leader, Instructional Coach and an Assistant Principal in charter schools in Massachusetts and New York. Anna successfully develops teachers by facilitating professional development workshops, modeling best practices and using an evidence-based coaching cycle. Anna is very passionate about empowering teachers with the skills and tools to provide high quality literacy instruction to all students.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Master of Teaching from the University of Virginia. Anna grew up abroad and has experienced different education systems around the world, which inspired her to go into Education. Anna enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, spending time with family, traveling and hiking in her free time.
