Deanna Perez is an educator, leader, and senior consultant with over a decade of experience helping students and teachers grow. She thrives on creating aha moments for others by helping students master new concepts or empowering educators with the tools and skills they need to succeed.
Deanna began her teaching career in Boston before returning to New York City to teach in Harlem and Brooklyn. Her passion for supporting educators grew as she took on leadership roles, including serving as a Lead Teacher and a Grade Level Lead. As a founding team member, Deanna played an important role in establishing a new school within her charter network, where she helped build systems, foster collaboration, and create meaningful learning environments. Deanna has also led professional development sessions for educators, equipping them with practical strategies and the confidence to implement new approaches effectively. Known for her creativity and solutions-focused mindset, she excels at designing engaging learning experiences and leveraging data to drive differentiated instruction.
