Senior Educational Consultant
she/her/hers

With over a decade of experience in education, Deborah-Ann Gordon is dedicated to enhancing historical education through innovative teacher and curriculum development. Deborah’s passion for education began at the tender age of ten years old as she observed some of her favorite educators foster a safe learning environment that allowed students to own their own learning experiences. She was inspired to do the same thing for her future students. Throughout her career, she has made it her mission to establish an environment where teachers and students feel safe and valued while they learn.

Deborah-Ann’s teaching journey began in the vibrant classrooms of Brooklyn, NY where she discovered the power of engaging, hands-on learning.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Children & Youth Studied and went on to receive her masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Shortly after graduating, she transitioned into leadership where she was able to inspire and empower more educators to refine their skills in and outside of the classroom through building strong relationships. She has worked with various educational institutions, helping to support the resurgence of classrooms and integrate culturally responsive and restorative practices that will resonate with learners and honor their experiences.

A lifelong learner and fervent advocate for educational equity and opportunities, Deborah-Ann is committed to empowering educators with the tools they need to create inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
