Desire Adams is a Senior Education Consultant with more than 10 years of education experience in the classroom, mentoring teachers and writing curriculum. Throughout her career, Desire has focused her reach on elementary schools, using data driven instruction to drive deep understanding, interest and academic growth in both ELA and math. Desire’s areas of expertise are understanding and using data, small group instruction and discourse facilitation to build knowledge and close academic gaps. Desire’s coaching beliefs are, build the relationship, use the data, see the results. Desire is also passionate about educating special populations and teaching with a culturally relevant lens.
Desire holds a Bachelors of Arts from the CUNY Baccalaureate Program in English, a Masters of Science from Hunter College in Childhood Education and an Advanced Certification in Culturally Relevant Pedagogy from Columbia University.
