Dionis Rodriguez has served on the Board of Teaching Matters since 2019, becoming its Chair in 2021. He is the Founder and Managing Principal of Crimson Rock Capital and Co-founder of Sojourner Glamping, Inc. Prior to founding Crimson Rock Capital in 2014, he was EVP of Acquisitions & Development at GB Lodging – now GFI Hospitality – a NYC hotel investment and asset management firm focused on lifestyle hotels. From 2009-2011, Dionis was the Managing Partner of Optimus Hotel Partners, responsible for an international portfolio of direct and entity-level investments in hotels and mixed-use projects.
Dionis is a board member and Advisor to The Guestbook. He founded, was President and is a member of the Board of the Harvard Business School Real Estate Alumni Association. He is a member of the Harvard Business School Club of New York City and previously served as on the Board of Managers of the Harvard Club of New York. He is a past Trustee of New York Nativity Centers. Dionis received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from The Cornell Hotel School.
