Frances Herrera is an experienced educator and instructional leader with more than 13 years of experience in New York City schools. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, teacher leader, department lead, and middle school assistant principal, with a strong focus on mathematics instruction, literacy, school culture, and teacher development.
Frances has led instructional improvement initiatives, supported teachers through coaching and data-driven planning, and helped strengthen systems for student achievement and intervention. She holds two master’s degrees and has completed coursework toward School District Leader certification.
She is passionate about supporting educators in developing rigorous, engaging, and equitable learning experiences for all students.
