Hanna Nichols

Hanna Nichols is the Associate Manager of Programs and Services at Teaching Matters, where she manages key departmental processes and systems to monitor the organization’s work and ensure the team has accurate data to drive decision-making. For the past six years, she has worked in New York City’s education landscape as a teacher and in research and data analysis roles in the charter, K-12, and postsecondary spaces. These experiences have given her a strong foundation in managing data collection and analysis systems to promote educational equity for all students.

She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy from Syracuse University, a Master’s in Childhood Education from Relay GSE, and a Master’s in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University.
