Jamina is an accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects in the education sector. Jamina began her career at the New York State Education Department (NYSED), where she honed her project management skills in the Project Management Office (PMO). During her tenure at NYSED, Jamina played a pivotal role in managing transformative education programs, including her work on the Race to the Top grant, ensuring these critical projects met their strategic objectives.
Building on this foundation, Jamina joined NWEA as a Project Manager for the Strategy and Innovation team. In this role, she has spearheaded several high-impact initiatives, including a groundbreaking game-based science assessment collaboration with Roblox.
Currently, Jamina is working at Teaching Matters, where she has successfully led the Early Reading Matters program and is now project managing NYC Reads. Her leadership in these initiatives has been instrumental in enhancing early literacy and comprehensive reading programs in New York City schools, reflecting her dedication to improving educational outcomes for all students.
