Jordan Brophy-Hilton serves as the Vice President of Development and Advancement at Teaching Matters. In this role Jordan leads Teaching Matters’ national fundraising strategy, working to expand philanthropic investment and visibility for the organization’s mission. Jordan is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing equitable educational outcomes through fundraising, strategic partnerships, and program leadership. She began her career as a first-grade teacher in Chicago Public Schools and later supported district wide literacy and math priorities, gaining firsthand insight into the power of strong teaching and philanthropic collaboration.

Over the past 15+ years, Jordan has held senior roles in development and advancement for national education organizations, helping to scale impact through diversified revenue strategies, donor engagement, and sustainable growth.

Jordan holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and anM.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education
