Joseph is a Managing Director at Jefferies, an investment bank. His career spans over 15 years, having worked in interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives at Citigroup, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. Joe serves on the boards of several organizations, including Teaching Matters, Opportunity Agenda, International Charter School, Woodie King’s New Federal Theater and was previously a trustee of Leadership Prep Charter School in Brooklyn. Joe is a co-founder of KB Gymnasium, the first group based cognitive skills training facility for children ages 5 -10 years old. Joe attended P.S. 269 and I.S. 246 Walt Whitman in Brooklyn, before going to St. Marks School in Southborough, MA. He received his bachelor ‘s degree in economics and public policy from Duke University and a master’s degree in economics from New York University. Joe lives is proud father and lives in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
