Kate Howard is the Associate Manager of Operations at Teaching Matters. Prior to starting this role, Kate worked as a Programmatic Consultant and a Summer Development Associate at Teaching Matters and has spent time in a classroom as an assistant Pre-K teacher.
With a lifelong love of learning and a strong background in operations, project management, and organizational effectiveness, Kate is passionate about creating efficient, people-centered systems that strengthen collaboration and maximize impact. She believes that thoughtful operational planning is essential to supporting educators and, ultimately, improving student outcomes. Kate earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics, from Tulane University. She is committed to continuous improvement and enjoys finding innovative solutions that help mission-driven organizations thrive.
