Mandy Ehrlich

During her over 30 years in education, Mandy Ehrlich has served as a national Staff Developer, Professional Development provider, Curriculum Writer, Literacy Coach, Special Education/ESL coordinator, Data Specialist, and Mentor Teacher. She has also served as a PTA Co-President and as Chair on numerous School Leadership Teams. Mandy has worked with school teams across various districts in NYC, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oregon. These roles give her an insider’s working knowledge of adult education, the effective management of school teams, and the importance of a unifying school vision. Mandy’s diversity of experience has shaped her understanding of practices and policies critical to school excellence.

Mandy has extensive classroom experience, teaching across Grades Pre K-8, primarily in The Bronx. She brought her love of learning and her ability to plan and implement thematic studies to her classes, resulting in strong student engagement and academic success. Her success as a teacher-educator stems from these critical years of dealing with the practical concerns of everyday classroom instruction and management.

Mandy leverages a deep knowledge of curriculum development and instruction in her work with school teams. As a Bank Street trained educator, Mandy brings a strong progressive, child-centered philosophy to her practice, placing children’s curiosity and agency at the center of all she does. She has considerable experience designing interdisciplinary curricula and developing theme-based units that foster a global perspective in learners.
