With 20 years of corporate development and investment banking experience, Michaël joined East Wind in 2009 from MESA, where he built the firm’s education and business services practice. Michaël brings a unique combination of experience as a corporate development officer for a Fortune 500 media company and as an investment banker for large cap and emerging growth companies.
Prior to joining MESA in 2006, Michaël led McGraw-Hill Education’s global strategy and mergers and acquisitions activities. During his tenure, McGraw-Hill Education completed 13 acquisitions and equity investments in the U.S., UK, and China, as well as two divestitures. Michaël joined McGraw-Hill Education in March 2001 after several assignments in the leadership program of its then parent company, The McGraw-Hill Companies. Prior to McGraw-Hill, he managed client engagements at Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance in Europe.
Michaël graduated with an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, France.
