Ruben Abrahams Brosbe is a Brooklyn-based educator and writer. He provides coaching and facilitation on topics including equitable math instruction, racial equity in schools, and restorative practices.Abrahams Brosbe began working in NYC public schools in 2007 as a Cohort 14 Teaching Fellow. He has a masters from Fordham University in childhood education, and in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Abrahams Brosbe attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a member of the Urban Scholars cohort. As an educator, Abrahams Brosbe believes in the power of culturally relevant, project-based learning. One of his favorite memories from teaching was watching his 5th graders present their research on historical and contemporary systemic racism to an audience of educators and community members at the Museum of the City of New York’s Teaching Social Activism Conference.
