Samantha Greenwald is a Senior Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters with over fifteen years of experience working in public schools as a teacher, literacy coach, and school leader. She became an educator to create equitable learning spaces and expand opportunities for all students, and these goals drive her work to this day. Samantha has expertise in evidence-based literacy practices and extensive experience designing and facilitating professional development that increases content knowledge and improves instructional effectiveness. She is a seasoned instructional coach with a track record of building trusting relationships with teachers and students to improve academic outcomes. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carleton College and a Master of Education from George Mason University.
