Sharine Stevenson

Sharine Stevenson (she/her) is a dedicated, justice-centered educator and leader who spent 16 years with the NYC Department of Education in roles including Department Chair, NYC Master Teacher, Mentoring Teacher, NYC School Designer, and UFT Chapter Leader, and also taught courses at Kean University in New Jersey. She has expertly led workshops and coached teachers on access, belonging, inclusion, and instructional growth in mathematics and science education. As the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Insights at MƒA, Sharine leads the organization’s admissions, recruitment, data systems, and program evaluation efforts. Her work throughout her career has deepened her belief that, with the right guidance, opportunities, and learning environments, people of all ages can grow, thrive, and lead meaningful change.

Sharine holds a B.S. in Biology from Brooklyn College and an M.S. in Education, with a focus on adolescent science education, from Pace University.
