Shenaille Beckley is a Senior Educational Consultant for Teaching Matters. She is an equity-oriented educator and school leadership coach with 10 years of experience in both achieving outstanding results in the classroom and coaching school staff on high-impact instructional practices. She has served diverse student and teaching populations as a General Education and ICT Teacher, Instructional Coach, Dean of Student Experience, Academic Director, and as a School Leadership Consultant. Shenaille’s areas of expertise are aligning school leadership practices to desired student outcomes, rapid and data-conscious coaching cycles of development and improvement, and developing teacher expertise in elementary math and reading standards, skills, and teaching best practices.

Shenaille holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Anthropology and African Studies, an M.A.T. from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and is completing her doctoral studies, attaining an EdD in Organizational Leadership at Dayton University. Her research explores the impact of institutional practices on the recruitment and retention of Black Women school leaders in K-12 education.”
